N-Power build is one of the five schemes operated by the Federal Government of Nigeria under the National Social Investment Programme(NSIP) for job creation and economic empowerment.
Designed to provide a holistic framework and practical machinery to effectively address the all-time challenge of systemic underdevelopment and very high magnitude of poverty, economic and social disorder as well as extreme degree of inequality, which has been the bane of our nation building and by extension threat to our national unity.
N-Power build as a job scheme is a non –graduate programme that seeks to deliver accelerated training and certification to 75,000 Nigerians between the ages of 18-35. The unemployed youths will be trained, tooled and transitioned, annually to take up jobs in various vocational trades. The essence is to build a new crop of highly competent and skilled workforce of technicians, artisans and service professionals.
